A just conclusion to the events that led me to stand for election and become a Parish Councillor.

Of interest I had a most interesting meeting of the Broughton Council tonight where I was "told" that I could not write letters bearing the Signature:

Councillor Clive Jefferson
Broughton Parish Council.

They had a most interesting take on the standing orders of councillors that say that no member should make statements for the Council without it going through the chair and the council. No problem, that is how it should be. The problem I have with this issue is my letter was clearly a personal one all be it written by a Councillor.

Do you think the content had anything to do with it being singled out for "special treatment"? Decide for your self. In fact I think I should .......write a letter about it.
